When I ventured into the Brazilian Amazon Jungle to compete in the Jungle Marathon, the Toughest Foot Race on the Planet, a 7 day unsupported extreme ultramarathon, I planned to document my experience and write a story.  After utilizing Rite in the Rain notebooks while working Military Police duties in Red Cross shelters and as a field engineer, I knew that my only choice for a reliable field notebook in the wettest environment in the world, the Amazon Rainforest, was Rite in the Rain.

Because of my past experience with RITR, I was not surprised to find that my notebook functioned flawlessly!  When it was not raining in the Amazon Jungle, it was completely humid and everything was soaking wet - anyways.  I trusted my RITR notebook to safeguard my race documentary and it proved worthy.
